Secret weaknesses that everyone knows. The illusion of "secret" allowing the individual to exist in a state of denial that "no one knows" and therefore no one is judging them. Yet, if no one knows you then how can you have any "real" true relationships? Its a Catch-22. Every place is a bit like Peyton Place, in that there is a bit of Peyton Place in all people.
