GDR is missing, so it might be from right after WWII, when the division of Germany was still considered temporary (which it actually turned out to be, but the globe does not look post 1990 to me). At least that's my .02$ worth. Don't put too much faith in it. Although my affiliation is with a university, I am not a historian.
