Sorry about not ever responding 2 yrs ago. We had twin girls not long after I posted that email and our lives were completely turned upside down. I was shocked to see the response to that posting.

But if you didn’t know, oak trees produce acorns every other year. So now, 2 yrs later, the acorns are now falling everywhere. I now have 3 helpers to collect them if anyone wants any.

Sweet Julie, full of such passion and zest for life, a loving friend and a fighter for justice. As you know, Katherine’s father died of pancreatic cancer 14 years ago, so I lost my husband, and the suffering was so hard to bear. Yet, pain is a clarifier, and suffering is a part of life. Even in the birth pangs, we can celebrate life, even the hard days. Love to you, dear one. And a belated Happy Birthday, too.
