Red

When I planted sweet peas, I chose ones that were in tones of pinks and purples. At least that’s what I remember. But this week I noticed this red one blooming.

A commercial praises the “power of red” and looking in my garden I see why. I see why red is used for stop signs. Fire trucks. And women’s dresses.

Now I can imagine the perfect pretty dress…if only I could slip into something sewn from sweet pea petals…

Now that WOULD be a truly lovely dress. I adore sweet peas. Let me know if you find one. 😉
