Smart cookies

October 24th, 2004 · 1 Comment

The other day Abigail and Michaela made Smart Cookies from Honest Pretzels (a cookbook, that is.) It is a smart recipe, with low fat and sugar. Too smart to stay too long in our house….

oh, yeah, and the kids are pretty smart cookies too…enjoying the independence that can come from a combination of literacy and teamwork and Mommy’s trust…

And what do those smart cookies have in them which makes them look purple in places? Or could it be chocolate, she said, hopefully? The girls have longer hair now…so do I! At 60, mine is longer than it has been since I was 30, and I love to feel it down my back as my husband strokes it. How long is your hair? In truth, the cookies look like bits of coral under a smooth, clear sea.
