Bite my tongue

October 24th, 2004 · No Comments

What I had to do on Friday

  • Return to the library at least some portion of the 57 items I had checked out on my card.
  • Clean up the kitchen from the previous day’s attempt to create replica terra cotta Chinese soldiers and horses from a homemade flour-based playdough.
  • Find a recipe and figure out how to prepare a pot roast with red wine, onions and mushrooms so that we can eat it by 7 pm.
  • Bite my tongue.

It was a day that started off, as in off. I typed two emails that I saved as drafts. Rants that will now remain unsent and unread.

I’m not the only one who believes

some things are better left unsaid.

and I’m not the only one trying to figure out what to do first off of my long list this week…but I think I can start speaking now…
