Catching up with the kids and their conversations

Elisabeth’s vocabulary is expanding. She learned to say “BloggerCon” and “Burger King” this month. The other day she said her first sentence, although slowly: “Tigger eat snack”.

We can even do a little interview with her:

Me: What’s your name?
Elisabeth: Eebedeepee
Me: How old are you?
Elisabeth: Two.
Me: What do you like to do?
Elisabeth: Eat!

Me: Who does the world revolve around?
Elisabeth: Me! Me! Me!

On our trip to Los Angeles, I caught two of Michaela’s conversations.

Michaela: How old is Uncle?
Ted: 80. Over 80.
Michaela: He’s out of his car seat!

Michaela: Who are you voting for?
A-ma: How about you?
Michaela: I’m voting for A-ma!

Abigail is trying to help me and her sisters. Sometimes it’s easy to forget who is the mom…

The other day I was wearing a shirt that fit a little short.

Abigail: I see your belly button. You should put your shirt down. Do I show my belly button?

Me: Sigh.

Abigail: You’re exhausted.

Me: We have a lot to do this week.

Abigail: I wish I could go shopping and you didn’t have to do anything but I can’t…
