Elephants never forget. And I won’t forget all the good things that have happened through this blog.

This is the season of gift giving. And I feel I’ve been given many gifts. Every reader, every link, every comment on this blog is a gift. Someone taking the time to read what I’ve written. Someone reaching to build a bridge between us. Thanks!

Once in a while, people read my blog and see it with different perspective from mine. 🙂

Many people recently have said nice things about me. Here are some examples.

Since I was a little girl I’ve felt a bit awkward receiving compliments. I don’t know what to do or especially what proper blog etiquette requires. But I’ve realized I should do what my mom taught me to do years ago: say thank you.

Thank you. Thank you for listening and understanding. Thank you for your sharing stories with me. Thank you for reaching through these pages, finding the heart behind the html. Thank you for meeting me here. Thank you for being there.

And thank you for not mentioning that as gifts go all my links look like they came from The Auburn Super Mall.

    Hey! Thanks for sharing!

Did I mention how cool it was to find your blog! No?

Well, let me say… it is real cool to find your blog. There, I’ve said it.

Thank YOU for sharing and just allowing the rest of us readers to connect with you. Truly, what a privilege.

Pops – thanks for reminding me that I forgot to mention how much I like gifts that came from The Auburn Super Mall. 🙂

Joann – It’s been real cool to find your blog too. I think you found me, if I remember correctly. 🙂 Thanks!
