I copied the image above from Philippe Boucher at his Voice of Bainbridge blog. Philippe and Mike Houser each have expressed interest in getting together with other bloggers on Bainbridge. Planning a local gathering has been on my wishlist for a while and I am now trying to set a date. I just think it’s the coolest that you’re in a blogging community. At a recent conference, I got to meet up with fellow bloggers in a Special Interest Group and we’ve got a lot of academic initiatives in motion, but if I were constantly surrounded by local bloggers too, I’d be in heaven!
Hope all is well–my conference featured a talk by Lessig so I am eager to get my notes up online. I’ve also been accepted into the MLA conference on a panel entitled “Weblogs as Witness” and I remembered you blogging on Jim Moore’s post a few months back. Hence, my visit tonight.
