Taking place in Bainbridge Island’s Grand Forest. The girls and I took a walk in the woods a couple weeks ago and enjoyed the trillium blooming. Soon the flowers fade from white to purple so go now and see the show!

Exquisite plant. I used to have them growing wild by the creek behind one of the houses I rented when I first came to Buffalo 17 years ago. Lovely memory and beautiful photograph. Thank you.

    Julie!

What a serendipitous post! I have trilliums in my backyard that I baby and protect from my enthusiastic young pickers (a highly vulnerable wildflower, they are protected by law here in B.C.) and this time of year I get about 3 weeks to admire them and enjoy their prescious gift to Spring.

    Lovely picture,
    Mary.
