Was anyone else listening?

Today as I was driving around, I heard bits and pieces of the NPR show Day to Day – I caught a bit of something about pharmaceutical advertising (I’d always wondered how companies get away with appealing directly to patients…), then missed most of the one about weblogging (radio reporting about news stories starting with “citizen journalists” on the Web reminded me somehow of “Video Killed the Radio Star”), and I did get to hear most of the piece on voice-over Internet Phone technology (the rates do sound great – the NPR piece said Qwest has announced they will be offering voice-over I.P. soon..maybe we’ll be switching over soon, either to Qwest or someone else…!).

Guess I could download the stories, but we here at sauria try to conserve bandwidth…just wondering too if anyone else heard this show or has any commentary on the topics….

i tried to make this comment but it got deleted, i dunno why:
a friend is using Vonage at work & at home (transfered the old home landline # to vonage) but has to reboot the unit multiple times daily in order for the other party to hear the receiving party. doesn’t seem like the technology’s ready for me yet.
