I enjoyed this StoryCorp piece on NPR Tuesday morning. Excerpts were played from this self-serve recording booth at NYC’s Grand Central Terminal. A daughter asks her mother “how do you want to be remembered?” An immigrant tells about his first day in America, searching a restaurant menu, “hot dogs” and “hamburgers” a mystery. StoryCorp sounds like a dream job to me. Listening to others stories fascinates me. Stories are life. Stories give life. I believe this life is about telling stories and what we do with those words we share. And I believe that the next life will be about telling stories too.
