As Fran wrote in her Northwest Notes blog , the weather has been wonderful, more spring than winter….and yesterday on our trip home from Seattle the views from the ferry amazed and refreshed me, yes, even this weary native: the city clear and colorful, the Olympic mountains visible above the island, jagged and blue.
The girls fell asleep on the way home, so I didn’t want to wake them by getting out of the van, but even from inside the windows, I could enjoy the beauty in the quiet.
