a mother’s embrace

From reading an MSNBC article on miracles in the Iran quake , this picture stayed in my mind:

Rescuers said on Monday a six-month-old girl had been pulled alive from the rubble of a flattened home in the ancient Silk Road city of Bam, 600 miles southeast of the capital, Tehran.

The infant, Nassim, was found in the arms of her dead mother. Rescuers said her mother’s embrace had shielded the child from falling debris and saved her life.
