Voting days

Just went and took our autographed envelopes to the post office: Bainbridge has a parks and rec levy. Seattle has a school levy. Lots of people across the country voting today.

Today and tomorrow is the start of our state’s stint in the sun, at least until Saturday’s caucus, with the arrival of presidential candidates and the accompanying circus.

I heard on the radio this morning that Kerry and Dean are already here today. Kucinich is coming tomorrow. Rallies across the state planned in Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma…

But I’m surprised no one is coming out here to Bainbridge to woo our little island of voters. Not even Kucinich. From what I see while driving around this place and reading the paper, I’d think that he’s the only candidate running….
