Frost and sun

February 10th, 2004 · No Comments

When I woke this morning and saw the frost outside, I remembered Anita’s link to Tommy William’s photos taken on a chilly morning. Although I got outside late and didn’t have a lot of time, I thought I’d try to take a few pictures. Tommy William’s are much more vibrant! Still I thought it’d be fun to try some shots, even if I could only explore our lawn.

Later in the morning, the sky was clear and blue, the sun shining bright like the crocus blooming in the garden.

Yes that’s a clam shell. The girls have some shells, clam and sand dollar, in their patches of garden. In the summer time, they come home from beach trips and put souvenirs in their plots of dirt. Soon it will be summer again. Days like today remind me.
