Since the last sentence I wrote on this blog two nights ago was about my need to let myself dream, I thought I’d mention that I took some time to rest and sleep last night. I did dream! I dreamed that we had a large dog. There were five dogs – two large and three small – and we picked one. That’s all I remember. It was one of those dreams that I forgot until this morning when I was driving around and I saw someone walking a huge dog. Then the dream came back to me. At least the large dog part. Sometimes that happens: I’ll dream but I’ll forget it until something I encounter in the day triggers the sliver of remembrance. It’s a strange deja vu of sorts. Then I wonder if I can try conjure up out of my mind the complete memory of whatever I dreamed last night…
