We’ve been reading a few Amelia Bedelia books around here and last night while I was being creative with some leftovers and phyllo dough I wondered how she would make Shepherds Pie…..
Here’s some speculation of the history of such dish that might fit with Amelia’s assumptions.
I don’t know if it’s my family’s heritage (hmmm…we do have British roots from my father’s side), but I had never heard of shepherd’s pie until I lived in Rhode Island.
