The first thing she wrote

This afternoon, at my daughter’s request, I took a bag of alphabet refrigerator magnets out of the closet. I bought them before we bought our house and our stainless-steel refrigerator that is only magnetic on the sides. So between the lack of good space for spelling and the abundance of little hands and mouths, I’ve kept them in storage.

During “big girl time” today, I took out the magnets and gave them to Abigail (age 5) and Michaela (age 3).

Here’s the first thing Abigail wrote on the side of our refrigerator:

clearly a sign of early genious! you can also buy magnetic paint and put a fun shaped magnet board up in the kids’ room.
