Too many bug bites

September 2nd, 2003 · 2 Comments

Last night we were outside as a family: Ted mowed the lawn, I swept the sidewalk, Abigail ate a popsicle, Elisabeth sat in the stroller and Michaela sped down the driveway in her Flintstone-style plastic car. And, sight unseen, some bugs (one bug? one mighty mosquito?) enjoyed a tasty dinner, leaving bites on us all. I am trying not to scratch but boy, are they itchy! Distracting too. I think I’m going to go upstairs soon and slather some calamine lotion on the big red spots before going to bed. So add too many bug bites to my list of excuses as to why I am behind on my blogging….

Oooh – I hope not. Since we are far from Florida and the bugs didn’t hurt when they bit, I think the likelihood is slim. Those mosquitos sound like horror movie ones, dangerous!
