See you Saturday: Blogger picnic on Bainbridge!

July 14th, 2004 · 1 Comment

This Saturday, July 17th, is the day of the blogger picnic on Bainbridge Island. We’ll meet near the Farmer’s Market music booth at 11:30 am. (I’d link to the market site but it seems to be down at the moment: the location is near City Hall and Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) Madrone Lane, a right turn up hill off of Winslow Way at Blackbird Bakery when coming from the ferry terminal)

As Ted explained, it is probably easier – and certainly more economical – for ferry riders to leave the car on the Seattle side and walk.

Bring comfortable shoes and appetite. I’ll bring a blanket or two. We’ll all have fun!

Thanks to those who have linked to my first picnic post or who have replied to email I sent…

If you told me that you are thinking about coming, I will send you an email tonight including my cell phone number. Here is a recent picture of Ted and me to assist in identifying us.

The weather forecast for Saturday, as of tonight, looks good. Partly cloudy, 77 degrees, chance of precipitation 20%
If it does rain, let’s meet at Streamliner Diner on Winslow Way at Ericksen (closer to the ferry dock, next to T&C grocery market.)

Ted, the girls and I are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

I’m not absolutely sure yet, but I’ll see if I can show up! It mostly depends on how late I sleep in that day after working a morning shift tomorrow (a very, very rare thing for this swing shift devotee). 😉
