Make toast

August 3rd, 2004 · No Comments

That’s what I feel I should do as I look over these drafts that have been sitting around for a few days getting old and stale as I’ve stepped away from my desk. What else to do with day-old bread, but make toast?

I think I’ll start by describing our weekend adventures and then perhaps go back and see which potential posts might still be fresh enough to enjoy.

But I would like to make a few toasts to recent birthday celebrants:

  • Just a Gwai Lo Richard
  • Doc Searls
  • Lisa Williams

I’m glad I was able to meet Lisa (and her affectionate birthday-sharing pet Mr. Dog) earlier this year.

But I missed meeting Richard at the blogger dinner the other night – he even traveled over the border and down to Bellevue… but life has its limitations…(I must say that I like his idea of giving gifts to parents for birthdays! )

and I missed seeing Doc at OSCON although we did a bit of walkie-talkie-telephone-game communicating through Ted.

    Cheers to all!

By the way, I apologize for my erratic blogging which may fluctuate wildly in volume for a good portion of August…
