Yesterday we had breakfast in California, lunch in Oregon and dinner in Washington. So to continue the pattern, we would need to have breakfast this morning in British Columbia. However, we decided to stop last night at Bainbridge Island and come back to our home after nine days on the road driving to, from and through the Bay Area.
Breakfast in British Columbia will have to wait until another occasion. The last time we took a family road trip, it was to Vancouver B.C., four years ago and we should try to do one in a northern direction again sometime. (The other night while watching the opening ceremonies, I did joke with Ted that we need to find some friends in Vancouver by 2010, in time for the Olympics!)
I’ll have more to write later…lots of unpacking to do now…and breakfast to cook in our kitchen…
