The speakers and schedule for the Northern Voice conference in Vancouver B.C. on February 19 were announced today. I am honored to have been selected to be a speaker and a panel participant. Many other bloggers are on the schedule also, some I’ve already met including Robert Scoble, Jay Dedman and Roland Tanglao and I’m excited to see everyone. The topic of my talk/discussion will be Public vs. Private – Blogging and the Family. In the afternoon I’ll be on a panel discussing Personal Blogging – Types and Styles of Blogs and Blogging. I figure it’s a great opportunity to take a family winter vacation (Stanley Park!) and to hang out with bloggers on the other side of the border. I’m looking forward to being face to face with some of my favorite writers and readers. It should be a fun Northwest blogging conference. I hope to meet many there…special thanks to Darren, Roland, Boris, Lauren and others for all their work…
Note: if you are thinking of coming, register! Also make a hotel reservation if needed. When I called the conference’s hotel this weekend, I was told that regular rooms were not available any more (our family requires a larger suite).
