Philippe Boucher posted last week that The future of Voice of Bainbridge depends on you excerpts below
To survive and grow Voice of Bainbridge needs people willing to commit time to record programs and to strengthen its organization as a local group.
I don’t even wish I could continue by myself because I have no interest into making a personal web radio focused on local issues.

So VoB is now on hold as far as I am concerned until a few web radio community lovers decide they want to join in.
It has been very exciting and I hope many of you have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy the recordings that will remain accessible.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to contribute.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy new year for all of you and your loved ones!

PS: I am also brainstorming about the feasibility of starting a local web newspaper via a collective blog.
The web radio would fit naturally within such a project.
I want to thank Philippe for all he has done for our community. He found my blog this past summer and it’s been wonderful to enjoy his work. Ted and I feel that he shares many of our hopes for our community and potential connections on-line. I’ve been able to dialogue a little with him about the local web newspaper as well. He has strong passion and ideas but needs partners to make things happen. I admire and appreciate his refusal to do it solo. Our family has had a busy fall, and until we are through this season, I’m not sure how available I would be to help, although I would like to participate and be involved. If anyone is interested in working together to build a community web radio or a local community newspaper on a collective blog, please contact Philippe.
Thank you, again, Philippe, for your voice, care and efforts on our island, in building the Voice of Bainbridge.
