Update 6:45 pm:
due to a crazy schedule and cooler weather, we decided to stay home tonight instead. But we hope to see everyone next week…:-)
Waterfront Park, at Eagle Harbor, near the ferry dock, 7 pm for eight Wednesdays, starting tonight.
Next Wednesday July 13 is the date planned for Bainbridge bloggers to get together at the concert.
I’ll try to update this post later or write another one with more info – sorry for the sketch but I just wanted to post this soon, in the midst of a busy day.
We Leungs will be there with a big yellow blanket – it’s one of our favorite island activities – see you then!
Articles on Bainbridge Buzz and Bainbridge Review have more info about the concerts.

Hi Julie! Sorry to have missed you tonight at the concert! It’s one of our fav things to do in the summer (after rotary and parade) so of course, we had to be there! Dear friend Jayni brings her silver candelabra, dripping with darkened wax from summer concerts picnics past and we set up the table…this time with what will be a summer reg–a pretty lace tablecloth– a lucky find at the rotary auction–and big, puffy pink hydrangeas in a purple garage sale champagne bucket… (they’re ‘posed to be Nikko Blue, but I put them in a pot on the porch with non-acidic potting soil). We’re a bit chilled, but the music and seeing friends warms us up–our group plops fried chicken, still-sizzling pork ribs, spinach salad and warm fruit tarte on the table. The neat thing is that our friends have a young french girl visiting and we all try to make her feel welcome…There’s a sparse crowd tonight. But nothing beats the little group behind us—approx. ages 1 1/2 years to 3 years, singing BOTH choruses of “Ring Around the Roses”! Encore! Encore!
