getting away for a fun weekend in Austin at SXSW and then coming home to cuddle with kids and husband…and discover that I have a computer I can use again at my desk, the twice-resurrected Thinkpad which had been my machine until my Powerbook arrived a year ago. Last night I caught up on sleep (spent Friday and Sunday nights in transit) and I hope to write more soon. Life seems slow and low-stress compared to the pace of previous weeks, and I like it. Hope you are doing well too. Thanks to everyone I was able to see this weekend and everyone who was there in spirit and thought.

Right on! Thank you so much, a) for including me and B) for the swag. We have eaten all the candy, and I finally noticed that the soap was “Rock Star Soap”! Ha!

you got to SXSW? dudette i’m jealous! georgina was born in san antonio and while we were waiting for her to attain an age when she could buy her own round of drinks, we’d cruise down to Austin to hear the music and for me to check out the geetars and pose. god i loved that city n its ambience.
