Speaking of microscopy…

in a previous entry yesterday, I mentioned the local high school’s recent acquisition of an electron microscope…

..and yesterday Fred at Fragments from Floyd posted the Beauty of Beer including a pretty picture of George Killian’s Red from
the Molecular Expressions Photo Gallery . Our portfolio of galleries contains thousands of full color photomicrographs (photographs taken through a microscope) and digital images selected from our many image collections

Now I’m not much of a beer or cocktail drinker. So I thought I’d skip the collection of Beer Shots , pretty as they are. But since I often blog about motherhood, I thought that instead I’d include a picture of folic acid under the ‘scope:

    That folic acid photo is incredible. For some reason I think of stuff like that as being gray. How can it be SO BEAUTIFULLY COLORFUL? Wow. Thanks for sharing that one.
