Look at that hair!

The other day Elisabeth’s hair was standing straight up in a spike. I’m not sure what happened – it’s flat again now – maybe it grew out a bit more or dried differently – but I had to take a photo or two of it.

Some people would pay money for this kind of hair, or at least buy a lot of hair gel but there she is, our toddler with her two-inch spike atop her little head!

Then, last night Abigail was cutting and coloring on the floor(the table was otherwise occupied). She was having fun creating all kinds of creatures with her scissors. But when we went to clean up, we discovered a little pile of hair amidst the snippings! I guess she didn’t even notice, too caught up in her thoughts to realize she had creatively cut not only paper but also her own hair!

    Wow, how big is that lock? We need a thumb or something in there to compare it with – that looks huge! (is it?). From front or back or side of her head?
